The Dawson Project Illustrations
The Dawson Project, a photography service offered by Aspin Photo And Film, captures pets during three pivotal stages: their early days, their best days, or their last days. As a commissioned illustrator, I had the privilege of creating light-hearted illustrations to be incorporated on their website and print materials. The Dawson Project, through its poignant visual storytelling, immortalizes the love, joy, and memories of beloved pets, making it an invaluable and heartfelt service for all pet lovers.
The Creative
When I hopped on the project, the logo and branding were already designed. I recognized the need for visual cohesion, so I matched the existing style and colors. By studying and understanding the original logo's illustration style and color usage, I expanded upon its elements to create a consistent visual language. This honored the previous designer's work and maintained the brand identity.
